Is Katherine Heigl really as unlikeable as the internets have decided? There’s a two-page thread on her IMDB page titled “does anybody else hope she falls off a cliff?” Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow are still widely quoted as being p.o.’d at her less-than-gracious remarks about Knocked Up. Now a blog post by Ken Levine is taking this chick to task for her hypocrisy in complaining about the 17-hour workdays on Grey’s Anatomy:
“It was – I’m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them – a 17-hour day, which I think is cruel and mean.”
Poor Katherine Heigl. What she neglected to add was this: This “cruel” shooting schedule was only to accommodate HER and her needs.
The comments section on Ken Levine’s site is divided between defenders and detractors; the comments section on NY Magazine less so:
Could Intel compile a timeline of Heigl’s systematic attempts to alienate the entire universe? My parents (who inexplicably love her) asked me why I wanted her to die in a fire, and I didn’t even know where to start.
I don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy, but one of the NY Mag readers insists her character on the show is balding while dying of cancer because the writers hate her. That’s funny.
