Jay-Z, along with the ultra rare DeLeon Tequila held an after party at 1Oak in NYC which also doubled as a release party for his latest album, The Blueprint 3.
No, this wasn’t the typical MTV after party where Spencer Pratt has been known to cause a stink with Lauren Conrad walked through the door, only Hollywoods A-List would be admitted into this one.
P.Diddy was the first to arrive, rollin’ big along with his entourage of 30 plus! Jay-Z and Rihanna showed up around the same time, as well as Justin Timberlake, Jude Law, Gerard Butler, Jessica Alba, Lance Bass, Ne-Yo, Micky Rourke, and Michelle Trachtenberg.
MIA from the party even though he was rumored to have been planning a performance, was Kanye West, who was booted from the VMA’s after rushing the state during poor little Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to declare Beyonce they winner of Best Female Video.
Ye’ issued a half assed apology on his website, but his actions were surely the talk of the night. Beyonce’s husband, who was hosting the exclusive after party was overheard chatting with a party guest claiming of Kanye’s actions; “It’s wrong, it’s unnecessary, he didn’t need to say that.”
