It seems as though Paris Hilton, our favorite ex-heiress, is trying to follow in the footsteps of her recently estranged and now on-again BFF Nicole Richie. Paris has been spotted with Benji Madden, Joel Madden’s brother and fellow Good Charlotte band-mate. Just two weeks after splitting with his long-term fiancé, Sophie Monk, Benji hooked up with Paris. Joel and Nicole share their first child together, Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Nicole has claimed in People Magazine that some of her friends have come over to see Harlow (i.e. Paris) and that Benji is the go-to babysitter for his niece when Joel and Nicole spend a night out on the town. Hey, maybe now they can double-date. Gotta get a new sitter though.
Wedding rumors are now flying as Paris has been flaunting a ring on her engagement finger. Why is it that every time I turn around, Paris has another poor sucker on her arm?! I honestly cannot keep up. She has claimed many times that she is ready for a family and kids…this could possibly be the yellow brick road to that dream. And if that didn’t make you sick enough, Paris, who is “tired of the haters” is developing a new reality series in which she is in search of a new best friend now that Nicole has graduated to the life of parenthood. A girl’s gotta make a living somehow now that grand-daddy Barron Hilton has decided to give away most of his multi-billion dollar fortune to charity when he passes, leaving only pennies to his children and grand-children because they are seemingly unworthy of passing on the Hilton name. Hmmm. . .I wonder why he would think such a thing. I have not a clue.
