Nicolette Sheridan made her exit from Wisteria Lane last night on Desperate Housewives. Find out how after the cut. In one of the most un-dramatic exits from a drama I have ever seen, Nicolette Sheridan’s character Edie Brit, got in her car and left.
I totally predicted this one back on April 8th, when I first told you her departure was on the horizon. I knew it wouldn’t be that big of a scandal at all, and i said “she’s probably just going to move.” and that she did. Packed a bag, got in the car, and drove away.
Executive producer Mark Cherry, the one who leaked Sheridan’s exit in an interview in April, answered the question that everyone was dying to know. When asked if Edie would ever be coming back, he said;
“yes, Edie’s gone and “won’t be back for a few years.”
That statement just adds fuel to other DH rumors which say the show will fast forward a number of years in an upcoming season.
