Not only a big ol’, colorful eccentric!
When asked recently about her relationship with Elton John, Miss Mary J. Blige had this to say:
“Elton John is one of the most inspirational musicians and philanthropists in this industry for me,” Mary says in statement. “I respect him with all my heart, and it is truly a pleasure to be performing with him on such an important night as we look to raise awareness and vital funds for the fight against HIV/AIDS.”
Now, that’s awesome!! Elton John has no personal career need to do this, he’s already rich and super famous. Elton John is just purely committed to his cause, just for what it is _ a wonderfully good deed. And, that makes him one very cool, colorful dude, in my book! Way to go, Det. Sir Elton John!Mary J.
