Morgan Freeman is said to be in good spirits as he lay in a Mississippi hospital after suffering severe injuries in an accident that resulted in his truck to flip several times.
Freeman was traveling down Mississippi Highway 32, four miles west of Charleston, near his home when the accident occurred. It’s uncertain what caused the accident, but one speculation is that Freeman simply fell asleep at the wheel.
He and his female passenger had to be cut from the vehicle using the jaws of life, and were then rushed to the hospital.
Both passengers were thankfully wearing their seat belts, and are said to be improving. Freeman was rumored to have broken some ribs, and injured his knee pretty badly.
