M.I.A. is totally capitalizing on the rise of her fame since landing her hit Paper Planes as the unofficial theme behind Pineapple Express. She’ll be gettin high like planes all the way to the bank with the birth of her new clothing line. Check it out after the jump.
The retired singer has seen her single, which was released originally over a year ago in August 2007 rise on the charts and gain major radio play since the movie chose it for it’s trailer.
She’s usually the anti everything type, but has said she cleared usage of her song for the trailer because she figured it would run for a few weeks, then go away.
Now she’s finally released her long awaited clothing line. It’s been dubbed Kala Tour/Oakley Run and features t-shirts, tanks, and sweatshirts all in the wild colors and prints your used to seeing M.I.A. herself in.
The pieces range from 75.00 for a simple T-shirt to 210.00 for a jacket. Insane! At least for what we’d expect from her.
