Olympic Gold Medalist and total hottie Nastia Liukin was rumored to have been offered a guest spot on one of her favorite television shows following her success in Beijing. Here’s what Nastia herself told OK! Magazine about being offered an appearance on Gossip Girl.
“I’ve always liked that show and I read all of the books before it became a show,” she says. “Right after the Olympics I went to L.A. and I had dinner with a bunch of my friends and there happened to be the producers of Gossip Girl! They passed over a note and they were like,’Congratulations!’ The next day they called my agent and wanted to meet with us and said they would love for me to guest star.”
Thats just one of the perks Nastia has gained from the games. She got the cover of a Wheaties box, some clothing line deals, a date with Maria Sharapova to NY Fashion Week, and to meet American Idol David Cook at the Oprah show!
