The Dark Knight made a ridiculous amount of money in first week sales, and there’s no stopping it there!
Sales estimates of DVD discs and Blu-Ray discs for the first week on the shelves are somewhere around 13.5 million copies.
Definitely on pace to be the top selling DVD of 2008, and it will only be available for 22 days total in 2008!!!
If you average about 24.00 per DVD sale, it would mean the disc pulled in $324-million in it’s first week!
If Batman really wanted to be a super hero, he’d help bailout the economy! He could with those kind of bucks!
