This sort of gesture deserves a hearty pat on the back for sure! Comedian/Actor Russell Brand entered Harrods department store in London on Tuesday when he was approached by a homeless man selling a UK charity magazine.
The man informed Brand on how he was just trying to get home for Christmas to see his elderly mother, and Russell decided to make a charitable contribution of his own.
Brand dug deep in his pockets collecting nearly 800 dollars so the man could afford a train ticket home for the holidays.
A source claims, “The man was reduced to tears, telling Russell he had made his Christmas.”
Bravo, Russ!
