Time Warner Cable saved themselves from the headache of one-million angry phone calls by inking a deal with Viacom late on Wednesday night before the network shut off all programing at 12:01 on Thursday morning.
Glenn Britt, president and CEO of Time Warner Cable Inc had this to say, “We are pleased that our customers will continue to be able to watch the customers will continue to be able to watch the programming they enjoy on MTV Networks. We are sorry they had to endure a day of public disagreement as we worked through this negotiation.”
Thank goodness! I bet it was the fact that they made Dora the Explorer cry that made them meet the demands of viacom.
And it’s a good thing! I let Time Warner win with the Big Ten Network but I wasn’t about to let a bitch get away with my MTV!
