Former Full House actress Jodie Sweetin is reportedly trying to avoid a lengthy custody battle with her estranged husband, Cody Herpin, over their 8 month old daughter, Zoie.
The pair split in November and it wasn’t pretty. Herpin has since accused Sweetin of relapsing back into alcohol and drugs and an Orange County Judge restricted her to supervised visits with the couples daughter.
A rep for Sweetin says that the couple has began mediated marriage sessions and and both hope to aviod a protracted custody battle. Adding, “They are trying to work things out regarding the sharing of their child. As far as reconciliation as a couple goes, in family law, you just never know.”
Sweetin has also reprotedly enrolled back into a 12 step program for drugs and alcohol and is said to be doing very well, though she claims the most she’s had was two glasses of wine.
