Britney Spears apparently got the news she’d have to go back to the studio and re-record a radio version of her next single, If You Seek Amy, due to its controversial lyrics.
By now you know a bunch of stick in the mud parents were complaining about the non swear lyrics, and apparently it was the threat to ban the song by a pack of radio deejays that got Britt’s camp to send her back to the sound booth.
Spears will now reportedly be singing simply “If You See Amy” on the track, which will be her third album from Circus.
This is actually a good strategy, because It really shouldn’t sound too different. It might even be un-noticable!
