Lil’ Bow Wow is about to hop on the fashion wagon as the next celebs to slap his name on a design.
Bow Wow will be teaming up with benched New York Knick (I think still?) Stephon Marbury to help design the latest collection of his own Starbury line.
Marbury teamed up with Steve and Barry’s in 2006 to create the line of affordible sportswear that the kids in school are embarassed to admit to wearing. Now that S&B has went out of business perhaps because of a ripple effect of above reasoning, Marbury is taking on this venture on and has asked Atlanta shoe store owner Bow Wow to help him design some kicks.
Bow Wow tells AllHipHop.com, “I think families should have a real choice. I want my fans to be able to wear nice shoes and clothing and to also have money in the bank. The smart consumer can have both.”
Tell that to the kid who’s place in line falls right behind the kid sporting the new LeBron’s.
The new Starbury collection is set to debut this November, and will feature items for men, women, and children.
