Kelly Rutherford’s estranged husband has a pretty valid court case in their nasty custody battle, seeing as Kelly’s job may require long days of work, but in an LA court room yesterday when Daniel Giersch tried pulling out all the stops against the pregnant Gossip Girl actress, she wasn’t having any of it.
Kelly made it very clear that if the judge was asking her to choose between her career or her son she would choose her son, but noted that she needed the job in order to pay bills and legal expense, because Daniel had offered no support.
He fired back saying she needed the job because she has a love for shopping and manicures and pedicures, to witch Rutherford took issue with, replying, “It’s not just me, I mean, he gets his eyebrows waxed.”
Id bet that’s when the court room erupted in a big loud “ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.”
Kelly’s testimony was cut short and is being picked back up this morning. The judge will most likely hand out his decision today, which hopefully is good news for Gossip Girl fans.
He’s got to realize there’s no love like the love of a mother who is a major factor in everybodys favorite television show, right?
