When it came about that 50 cent was praising Jay-Z in a recent interview with XXL magazine, it seemed like the rapper who usually would throw out a diss to anyone who looked his way had gone soft, but nope!
50 also talked about long time rival Nas in the interview. Nas has a track on his upcoming album titled Queens get the money, in which he throws some negativities in 50’s direction, but 50 has now apparently placed Nas too far below his radar of even being worthy of a diss track.
He claims, “Nas is cold as ice. Nas is the block of ice that sunk the Titanic… I didn’t even hear his record. I didn’t even hear what you talking about… I really don’t want to talk about Nas. I think he’s at one of those points to where his career’s finished, to be honest. He’s had some great moments and made good music in the past, but he no longer has the interest of the general public or myself.”
I guess we’ll see how hot 50 still is when his latest album, Before I Self Destruct, is released this year. The poll on this site which asks “Who’s better, Nas or 50 Cent,” has Nas leading 75% to 8% with 17% of people who just don’t care.
