He’s pretty much kept quiet since the incident happened over a week ago, although some people close to him have spoke up and branded Chris Brown as a “dead man walking,” but finally Jay-Z has stepped up with a comment of his own.
Jay discovered Rihanna back in 2004, and has formed a very close relationship (some rumors would say too close) with the Umbrella singer.
He tells Hollyscoop.com,
“It’s not a soundbite, this is a real situation. You have to have compassion for others. Just imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should talk about that.” Adding, “I just think we should all support her. She’s going through a tough time. You have to realize she’s a young girl, as well. She’s very young.”
He’s right, and being fair about it before making accusations, but gossiping is not blaming!
