Sean “Diddy” Combs the business man has reached a settlement with Louis Vuitton stemming from a case filed in court for some product placement issues.
Combs apparently had used the LV logo in videos and CD packaging for Danity Kane and was not authorized to do so.
The two parties reached an agreement and Diddy will remove the likeness of LV from all future videos and CD releases.
It was probably an easy decision to reach because Danity Kane is no more anyways.
This isn’t the first time LV has went after the music biz. The brand has been to court with Sony BMG in the past over the use of their likeness in videos for Britney Spears, Da Brat, and Ruben Studdard.
