Jay Leno’s free comedy show for Detroit’s unemployed on April 7th has created such a buzz around town, with people lining up mega early to get their free tickets, that Jay has decided to add a second free show in Detroit, for April 8th.
Leno announced this plan last week, to do a free show for a city hit hard by the economic crisis and perform a date of his comedy tour for free along with complimentary parking and refreshments.
All fans have to do to get a ticket is head to the Palace of Auburn Hills box office and say you are unemployed to get up to four tickets.
A spokesperson for the venue says each show will be able to hold about 15,000 people and tickets will be avaliable until they run out, so hurry!
Jay’s standup show will be taking up a weekend residency in Las Vegas at the Marage this spring, but tickets will cost you about $64 dollars.
