Looks like there may have been more to the motive of Zac Efron pulling out of the Footloose remake.
While the High School Musical star reportedly just wanted to get away from musicals and dance for once, it appears as if there may have been a little voice in his head helping to influence his decision.
Ben Steers, who directed Efron’s latest, Seventeen Again, has offered Zac a role in his next film, an adaptation of The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, a novel in which is about a caretaker at a cemetery who has weekly meetings with the ghost of his younger brother, whose accidental death he blames on himself.
The Life and Death is supposed to start production this coming July.
