What do you make of this!?! Barack Obama will be addressing the nation this Wednesday night to give his 100 day update, and usually that means all of your favorite television programming gets pushed aside.
Well the number one show in America isn’t going to stand for this! Fox has deferred the offer to air Obama’s address, and will instead play it on their Fox News Channel, and Fox Business, both cable channels.
Sure the address is at 8 o’clock EST, and American Idol doesn’t go live for Wednesday results until 9pm EST, but do you think Barack is going to speed things along to make sure he’s done in time for Idol? He should, but likely won’t.
Fox credits the decision to the loss of advertising dollars they would recieve by switching out the 8PM programming rather than admitting they just don’t give a shit what he has to say.
What will be interesting is to see the how the numbers drop off on ABC, CBS, and NBC at 9PM when Idol goes live and nobody wants to miss a minute of it if Obama is still speaking.
Who in there right mind wouldn’t pick Ryan Seacrest over”BO”. Hell I would rather watch spongebob and I don’t like him at all or maybe take a beatin (kinda like the country is going to take)
