Anthony Hopkins is teaming up with director Ridley Scott to create a fourth installment of the series based on his serial killer character, Hannibal Lecter.
Hopkins first played the cannibal in 1991’s Silence of the Lambs, before returning for a sequel in 2001 and a prequel in 2002.
The new film will take place after the second film, but will be missing Jody Foster, who pulled out from the project to direct another movie.
Cate Blanchett has been tapped to take on the role of Clarice Starling, a role made famous by Foster
