Who ya gonna’ call?
Ghost Busters of course!! The third film in the classic series has been green lit, 25 years after it’s original release!!!
The news was confirmed by Dan Aykroyd who has revealed that all of the original players have signed on as well, including Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, Harold Ramis and Bill Murray.
Though Aykroyd tells the LA Times that he’s hoping this film will be a sort of “passing of the torch” to a new generation of Ghostbusters.
“I’d like it to be a passing of-the-torch movie. Let’s revisit the old characters briefly and happily and have them there as family but let’s pass it on to a new generation.”
Aykroyd also admits he wouldn’t mind seeing a generation of all girl ghost busters, including Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku.
Ghost Busters the video game will hit the shelves on June 6, and will feature the voices of the famous movie stars.
Who do you want to see join the new generation of Ghostbusters??
