Box office shocker this weekend!
Though Terminator: Salvation may have brought in a big $13 million during it’s opening night making it the favorite to win the box office race this weekend, but a bunch of bad opening night reviews must have had an effect on the rest of the weekend, because the sequel to Ben Stiller’s Night at the Museum came back late in the weekend and took the top spot.
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian landed the top spot by bringing in $53.5 million in ticket sales this weekend. That’s about $10.5 million more than Christian Bale’s Terminator Salvation brought int ($43 mil)
Rounding out the top 5 respectively were Star Trek ($22m) Angels and Demons ($21.4m) and Dance Flick ($11m)
