Mel Gibson and model girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 39, are expecting a child. It will be the eighth for Gibson and the second for Grigorieva who has one child with Timothy Dalton. Mel recently made the announcement on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, but rumors have been flying about the pair since they appeared together at the premier of X-Men Origins: Wolverine in Los Angeles.
Gibson’s estranged wife, Robyn, recently filed for the divorce of their 28 year marriage on April 13th, but Gibson claims the couple has been separated since August 2006, around the time of his famous DUI.
Mel tells Leno; “My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then. These things happen. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad, but you know, she is an admirable woman-we still got kids together, we’re friends.”
