Miley Cyrus ticket drama was the big story during her last tour, and with tickets now on sale for her fall 09 tour, you didn’t think it would be drama free did you?
When tickets went on sale Monday morning for Miley’s show at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, fans were shown the wrong seating chart, causing them to pay big money for seats that in the end wont be so good!
Some of these fans even spent 30 bucks on a membership to the Miley Cyrus fanclub in order to skip the line and get the early tickets.
Though Ticketmaster didn’t acknowledge it as a mistake, only switching the seating chart three hours later, the head of the Nassau Coliseum spoke out to say “an apology is in order” to those who purchased the misleading tickets.
Ticketmaster is however offering a refund to those who are unhappy with their purchase.
“Some fans who purchased the best available floor tickets to Miley Cyrus’ upcoming Nassau Coliseum concerts during Monday’s fanclub presale may have viewed a seating map that was updated later that day. The system did provide the best tickets available to all buyers at their time of purchase, however if any consumer is unhappy with their floor seats in sections A2, B2, and C2 because of the seating map change, they may obtain a refund by calling Ticketmaster’s customer service at 1-800-745-3000.”
Miley Cyrus fans just can’t win when it comes to concert tours! I say save your $100 bucks and wait for her concert DVDs.
Not only is the face value of the tickets with the service charges very high at about $100 per ticket, scalping seats in the first 25 rows at $299 per seat is outrageous considering the charges leveled at ticket brokers.
