Since 1937 this mummy on display at the Brooklyn Museum has been believed to be a female, Lady Hor of Egypt.
Not until this week when a CT scan was ran on this and 4 other mummies was it revealed that Lady Hor was packin’ a few manly parts!
It was discovered that the lady had a penis and a scrotum!
It was originally believed by scientists that the specimen was a lady, because the coffin was lacking the traditional beard printing that most males recieved.
Woops!
