Fans have been crowded around Michael Jackson’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for a week straight, leaving candles, flowers, signs, and cards. His music blasts from cars and radios near by and vendors are selling MJ merch right on the sidewalk, so you can imagine what a zoo downtown LA will be like on July 7th when they hold a public memorial at the Staples Center.
But..It’s going to cost you. According to a new report, tickets for Michael’s memorial service are going to run you $25.00
Family, friends and VIP will sit down on the floor of the Staples Center, and fans and the general public will sit in the seats.
It’ll be like any other Lakers game.
Vendors will be outside of the arena selling the would have been tour shirts from his This is It tour.
No word on how to go about tickets yet, but surely they will come and go faster than I could type you the info.
If you aren’t going, a suggestion would be to avoid downtown all together next Tuesday morning!
