They might reunite ten times daily in syndication, but the cast of Seinfeld will be coming together for the first time since the series finale of their legendary sitcom soon. Hope you have HBO. (Can you tape it for me? I’m asking if you still own a VCR.)
Here’s where it gets all meta: the “reunion” will be a story arc on Larry David‘s reality-blurring Curb Your Enthusiasm. I bet it’ll go something like this:
Interior: writer’s room
Larry David: Hey, everyone. Great to see you again. Let’s begin the table read.
Jason Alexander: There’s no lox left. I want lox on my bagel.
Larry David: Lox on your bagel? You can buy your own lox later. Okay, scene 1…
Jason Alexander: I was promised lox.
Jerry Seinfeld: I’d say you’re doing just fine otherwise.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus: Y’know, I always felt like lox was too salty.
Jason Alexander: You’re buying it wrong.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus: I’m “buying it wrong”?
Michael Richards: I’m still afraid to go south of Pico.
Larry David: You people are driving me crazy!
That. For five episodes.
