It’s official. The video for La Toya Jackson‘s hot new video, ‘Home’ has hit the internet.
The sweeping epic depicts current La Toya (filmed exclusively in Vaseline-coated lenses) alongside “Younger La Toya,” a child of about 12 years old. You know, ten years younger than real life La Toya.
What’s it all about? The Fried Green Tomatoes-inspired vid has a Southern vibe! That means a lot of sittin’ on the porch, Toy starin’ out at the Bayou, frollicking in the countryside, and looking real pretty.
What this has to do with anything, we’re unsure. But the music video does end with a screen that says:
“In loving memory of my brother, the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson.”
And all proceeds go to AIDS Project Los Angeles.

The video and song are beautiful. How these people like Mackenzie get writing jobs is beyond me? It’s obvious the video is a metaphor for memories of childhood/lost childhood (The Jacksons). I guess you don’t have to understand metaphors to give a review. More important however is that the proceeds are going to MIKE’s favorite charity, and she is drawing attention to the fact that he is in the Guinness Book of World Records for Charity work. She is making sure her brother isn’t remembered as “Wacko Jacko” and should be applauded for that.
