George Takei and his gay boyfriend, Brad Altman, will be the first gay couple on The Newlywed Show, currently airing on the Game Show Network. Boy, oh, boy, there is a really, really obvious joke here that I almost feel obligated to make about George giving the sameĀ legendary response a contestant offered to the question “What is the strangest place you have ever made whoopee?,” although the question “What is the most obvious place you have ever made whoopee?” would be more likely to prompt that.

Ahhh, another boring, pointless post replete with ignorance and a completely failed attempt at “humor” by Grant. Really, Grant, your “joke” wasn’t even remotely funny or original. Perhaps if gay couples participated in shows like this without inane, 2nd-grade comments, people would get over themselves about gay marriage and not think of it as an anomoly. Equality is equality, so please spare the enlightened public your predujices. It’s offensive. For some reason, I thought Starzlife would be more progressive, considering few heterosexual men trade in celebrity gossip.
