A horrible attack happened on the campus of UCLA this afternoon.
A female student had her throat sliced by a male student inside of a science lab at Young Hall on campus.
The name of the victim was not immediately released but she was transported to the UCLA medical center where she remained in critical condition.
The attacker was detained by campus police and remains in custody.
