Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady just had their first child together earlier this week, but don’t think it’s going to keep him off the field this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Brady returned to practice for the first time Friday morning, and joked that it was just a regular week.
He told reporters; “I owe it in the guys in the locker room to be focused on what I need to do for this team,” adding that he planned to “put all those emotions [from having a baby] aside.”
The Patriots are in a tough spot with a 7 and 5 record and a game against a divisional rival coming up this Sunday.
The team is going to need their star QB, and their star QB knows that if he took a week of he’d never hear the end of it from the fans.
Good luck to Tom with his newborn son though!
