Simon Cowell’s pockets may have been a few pennies lighter due to the leaking of songs from his X-Factor artists ahead of the release dates, and he’s actually going to do something about it!
Cowell has enlisted in the FBI to do an investigation over the hacked and leaked tracks from Lewis’ album, Echo, which were available online before the release date in November, and his latest artist Alexandra Burke.
A rep for Cowell’s Syco released the following statement; “Hacking and stealing of songs is a real issue for many artists. We are doing everything we can to catch those behind this.”
Well good luck Sime, the people who do this type of stuff, are generally smart about it and don’t leave a trail.
