Fox News announced on Wednesday that it was dropping the use of LL Cool J, Real name James Todd Smith, from Thursday night’s premiere episode of Real American Stories hosted by Sarah Palin.
Smith was upset when his likeness appeared in a preview for the show, which he took to his Twitter account to address;
“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW”
Fox announced that they did not have to remove him from the footage, as they did shoot an interview with him 18 months ago for a TV program called Real American Stories, but would do so anyways.
It’s clear that the actor/rapper just want’s nothing to do with something involving Sarah Palin.
Fox News said in a statement; “As it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”
