Now this is just crazy!
Kirstie Alley has recently revealed on her new TV series, Big Life, that she spends over $40,000 per year to take care of her family of Leemurs. Alley has 9 of the primates at her Los Angeles home, as she started with three females, but all three had a set of twins.
She explains, “I have three new sets of baby lemur twins. I think it’s a little bit rare, but we have three females and each one had a set of twins. I don’t recommend them as pets for people because they’re very expensive. I have two full-time zookeepers that take care of just them. It costs about $40,000 to keep the lemurs.”
Two full time zookeepers at your house? Where do I sign up for that job?
Alley adds that she’s had them for for thirty years, and that they are written into her will!
