Portia Di Rossi Taking on Ellen’s Last Name

Portia DeRossi, the wife of Ellen DeGeneres has filed papers with the LA superior court to take on the last name of her spouse according to TMZ.

The docs would make Portia become Portia DeGeneres, even though the two have been officially married since 2008.

This announcement on the heels of California’s Prop 8 being ruled unconstitutional again, legalizing marriage for the gays again.

Congrats, to the newly official Mrs. Degeneres.
