With opening weekend grossing almost THREE times as much money as they were projecting, Paramount and the Jackass gang are stuck with a decision on what to do withthe remaining footage.
As they did with the second film, the guys shot about two movies worth of film, with a lot of it getting left on the cutting room floor, paving the way for them to release Jackass 2.5 on DVD and online.
This time, since much of the footage was shot in 3D, there’s contemplation of a second theatrical release.
Paramount is giving some serious consideration to this, and we think they should go for it! The sooner the better!
