A kick in the gut to Jordan Bratman, as Christina Aguilera has finally stepped out with her new man, just weeks after announcing her and her husband’s split.
This past weekend, Aguilera was spoted out on a double date with friend Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, with her new squeeze, Matthew Rutler, an assistant on her new film, Burlesque.
The fousome hit up the Soho House in Los Angeles for an evening out, which was the first instance of seeing Aguilera out with another man since announcing her split.
Another rumor surfaced this weekend that Aguilera was in a “hookup” phase with Joel Madden’s brothr, Benji, with HollywoodLife reporting that the relationship was “all about sex” right now, but a rep for Christina has denied those claims.
Whoever she’s stepping out with, the question comes in to play of why/how so soon?
Aguilera is rumored to have started a relationship with Rutler on the set of her new film, which started as professional but quickly progressed.
We’ve reached out to a source close to Aguilera who would not confirm the new romance, only saying that “Christina and Jordan were separated for a while quietly, but officially filed once they knew for sure it was time to move on.”
Christina maintains that her son, Max, is her first priority, and rightfully so.
