It may have been Ferrell vs. Pitt in the movie, but it was Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt as a team who took on Zach Galifinakis and Robert Downey Jr. at this weekends box office .
Megamind opened to a huge $47 million dollar weekend, with the road trip comedy Due Date coming in second with $33 million.
Might have helped that Jonah Hill, and Tina Fey are billed on the Megamind cast as well.
