Jane Lynch will be bringing all that Sue Sylvester flavor to an episode of The Simpsons next season!
Her character will be an assistant of Homer Simpson, who cheats him out of a big promotion at work.
Simpsons Executive Producer Al Jean tells EW.com : “This woman seems terrifically nice, but then it turns out she’s just completely undermining him every step of the way and gets his job.” “She (Lynch) can do edge, sweetness, and a mix of both. I’m just embarrassed we didn’t ask her before she was so successful because she’s funny in everything she does. We were very happy when she said yes.”
Lynch won an Emmy last year for her comedic performance of a sarcastic cheerleading coach on ‘Glee,’ and was just nominated for a Golden Globe.
The episode of The Simpsons will air next season.
