Stephanie Pratt is also defending her former ‘Hills’ co-star and friend, Lauren Conrad, after MTV has decided to pull the plug on her new reality show because their audience was “not savvy enough.”
Pratt told Us Magazine at an event for New York Fashion Week that she was really “shocked” in the decision to scrap Conrad’s show.
“I was pretty shocked. I think it’s such an inspirational show that people really get to see that dreams come true. I was really shocked. I thought it would have been great for kids to watch.”
Conrad filmed the show centered around launching her fashion line, which she thought was very inspirational, but when she presented it to MTV they turned it down leading her to fire back at the network with these comments; We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.”
Lauren Conrad will be fine though, good to see other MTV celebs having her back.
