Yesterday, after it had been announced that Lindsay Lohan would be reading the Top 10 list on Thursday’s edition of ‘The Late Show With David Letterman,’ Lindsay took to her twitter feed to address the situation, and shoot down the rumors.
Lohan wrote, “I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I’m not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion.”
Apparently it was a prankster who reached out to CBS pretending to be an associate of Lindsay Lohan, setting up her top 10 gig for this coming Thursday night. Who knew it was as easy as that to pretend to represent you’re favorite celebs!
CBS has since issued an apology for the mishap in a statement which read:
“We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay’s reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear. Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future.”
Somebody has got to be losing a job at CBS over this!
