Some new evidence in the Lindsay Lohan necklace theft case could potentially put her away for a long time!
Surveillance footage from the scene of the crime has came forward, and is probably the reason Lindsay Lohan wasn’t put into jail on Wednesday afternoon when she opted to back out of the plea deal.
The footage from the store camera shows Lindsay Lohan taking off her necklace to try the store’s necklace on, but then after some conversation with a friend in the store, she puts her own necklace back on over top of the store’s necklace while the friend distracts the store clerk.
The name of the male accomplice and details of the tape were not released, but RadarOnline has spoken with a member of Law Enforcement who backed the claims.
Lohan pleaded not guilty to felony grand theft charges at the hearing on Wednesday, and has until March 10 to decide whether or not to take the plea deal of six months in prison.
If convicted in a later trial, Lohan could face up to three years, and we already know the judge “doesn’t care that she’s Lindsay Lohan.”
It might be a smart move for Lindsay to take the plea if she thinks this evidence could get in the way of her claim that she’s not guilty.
Time is ticking until March 10!
