What goes around comes around they say! Ashton Kutcher, famous for tricking celebs on his hit MTV show Punk’d back in the earlier part of the decade has had the tables turn, as his twitter account was hacked this week.
Kutcher, one of the original celebrity tweeters, one of the first to reach a million followers, and one who has raised a ton of money on the social networking site had the following message posted to his page for his 6.3 million followers to see:
“Ashton, you’ve been Punk’d. This account is not secure… P.S. This is for those young protesters around the world who deserve not to have their Facebook & Twitter accounts hacked like this.”
The tweet was deleted, and passwords were changed, and all is good in the twitterhood.
If we didn’t know any better though, we’d bet it was a guy who’s girlfriend roped him into seeing Kutcher’s ‘No Strings Attached,’ and wanted a little payback.
