David Arquette’s car accident on Friday lead to a lot of speculation that there may have been drugs or alcohol involved based off his previous trip to rehab and wild month long party binge.
Even a Tweet from Arquette in which he admitted he refused pain pills at the hospital to keep up with his sobriety had some people not fully convinced.
Well time to admit convincing! The LAPD has released the following statement regarding Arquette’s accidend; “No alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash whatsoever. It appears that the accident will be Mr. Arquette’s fault for driving on the wrong side of the roadway.”
Original statements from the accident had Arquette swerving left in order to avoid a rear end collision while driving to the airport in West Hollywood, but directly into oncoming traffic and a head to head collision.
Arquette tweeted another important message post crash, to always wear a seat belt. At the time of his crash, he wasn’t.
