We hope this is nothing more than an April Fools rumor that has hit the internet, because we besides the obvious ratings it would draw, we’re not sure who of the parties involved would actually want to come face to face with this moment.
MTV News is reporting that Good Morning America is trying to not only arrange Chris Brown’s return to the show after an incident last week had him storming out with a ripped shirt and them with a broken window, but also bringing on Rihanna to reunite the former couple who’s relationship ended on the eve of the 2009 Grammy awards when Brown assaulted Rihanna in a rental car.
Rihanna has recently spoken out about the healing process in her new issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, as well as having the restraining order lifted by the judges, however she expresses no intent of ever speaking to Brown again, so why would she want a televised reunion?
It might make sense for Chris Brown to be a part of something like this, and it would be big time ratings for Good Morning America, but it better pay a heck of a lot of money because Rihanna’s image doesn’t need this type of thing.
