David Arquette and Courteney Cox ignited reconciliation rumors last week when they were photographed together at Disney World with their daughter, Coco, but it would appear that the pair is not fully back together yet.
Arquette appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio program on Monday to talk about the relationship, calling Cox his best friend.
“We’re not together,” Arquette explained. “She’s my best friend, and I love her with all my heart.”
David also revealed that they have an open and honest relationship, admitting that Cox told him all about her trip to St. Barts, which she was joined by her Cougar Town co-star, Josh Hopkins.
“We have 15 years together of love and friendship, we’re in a better place right now then we were.”
Arquette and Cox will be together again Monday night at the premiere of Scream 4 in Hollywood, a film which will be released in theaters on Friday.
The couple first met on the set of Scream 1 in 1996, and were married a few years later.
