Pamela Anderson is leading the charge against seal hunting in her native Canada, and she’s calling in the big guns to help her cause!
Anderson has reached out to a leading Chinese politician to join her on a trip to Canada, asking China’s minister of land and resources, Xu Shaoshi to witness Canada’s annual seal cull.
In a letter that is also endorsed by PETA, Anderson writes: “Please don’t allow China to become a dumping ground for seal meat and oil products that even Canadians don’t want… If you witnessed this massacre, I’m sure that you’d have a change of heart about importing seal products into China.”
Previously, she has urged Russia to ban imports of seal goods in a bid to weaken the industry. She’s hoping Canada will follow suit.
