Kobe Bryant has responded to the news that he was caught on camera calling the referee a “f**king fa***t” last night during the LA Lakers game against the San Antonio Spurs by releasing the following statement:
“What I said last night should not be taken literally. My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”
Not an apology, but the typical “I didn’t mean it LIKE THAT” response.
While we’re sure he’s being truthful, you gotta know how to keep words like that out of your mouth! Especially when there are 30 television camera’s on you at all time.
Apology accepted?
